DMCA / Copyright Policy

FileGB respects the rights of copyright owners and expects its users to do the same. We remove infringing files promptly when we receive a valid notice.

Reporting infringement

The quickest way to report a file is the Report abuse link on its download page. For formal notices under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) or similar laws, send a notice to our designated agent containing:

  • your physical or electronic signature;
  • identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed;
  • the full download link(s) of the infringing file(s) on FileGB;
  • your name, address, telephone number and e-mail address;
  • a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law;
  • a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on the owner's behalf.

Designated agent: FileGB
E-mail: [email protected]

Response time: we are a small team, so please allow up to 4 business days for a reply. Valid notices are acted on as quickly as possible.

Counter-notice

If your file was removed by mistake, you may send a counter-notice to the same address including your signature, the removed link(s), a statement under penalty of perjury that the file was removed by mistake or misidentification, your contact details, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court. We may restore the file unless the complainant informs us that they have started legal action.

Repeat infringers

Accounts that receive repeated valid copyright complaints are terminated.
